First Steps
For you to have a full usage of all the OpMon resources, is important that the installation is properly performed, following all the minimum requirements and knowing each option presented in the installation phase. Taking this into consideration, we developed the manuals regarding each OpMon installation phase.
If you need to access the Linux console, log in as root and password opservices.
1 – Minimum requirements
Find out which are the minimum requirements that are recommended for the installation and access to OpMon.
2 – Performing the Download
You have the option to download a DVD image (.iso of about 1.7GB) or a Virtual Machine (.ova of about 1.2GB). The OpMon solution can run on virtual platforms compliant with 32 bits or 64 bits, including the VMware Player and Oracle VM VirtualBox, both free.

3 – Performing the installation
Do you want to manually install the OpMon in your own CentOS physical server? No problem, for a better usage, follow the steps below according to your installation preferences.
- Physical installation
For the physical installation, follow the steps described in the following procedure:
- Virtual installation
Having the comfort and ease of use of our clients in mind, the OpMon solution can run on virtual platforms that are compliant with 32 bits or 64 bits, including the VMware Player and Oracle VM VirtualBox, both for free. Choose the manual below according to the virtual platform of your interest.

4 – Configuring the environment
